Practical notes for small accommodation operators

DigitalHarvest is an independent publication operated by NSST. It focuses on recurring guest messages, calendar checks and the work involved in managing a small accommodation business.

How we prepare articles

AI tools assist with research, drafting, translation and diagrams. This does not make a claim true. Platform rules need a linked primary source; calculations need stated inputs. Comments from public discussions describe individual experiences, not verified industry averages. We do not claim personal hosting experience that has not been documented.

When we test our own software, we label the test and its limitations. The calendar-check demonstration on 9 September 2026 used fictional reservation dates. It tested an overlap rule; it did not make or cancel live bookings. Template examples use fictional property details and do not contact real guests.

Products and advertising

NSST develops and sells the Host Automation Kit. Articles that link to this paid product disclose that relationship near the link. Google AdSense is configured, but the site is currently awaiting approval after a content-quality issue. Configuration is not proof of approval or earnings. Any other affiliate relationship must be disclosed next to the relevant recommendation.

Corrections and scope

These articles provide general operational information. They are not tailored legal, tax, investment or insurance advice. Readers should verify current platform rules and requirements that apply to their property.

For corrections, use the contact page. Significant factual corrections are made in the article. Updated 9 September 2026.
